A FOUNDER'S STORY
We ordered the spiciest chutney they had.
It tasted like nothing.
Somewhere in northern India, two friends from Assam sat down for momos. The chutney arrived...deep red, looking promising. We dipped. We ate. We waited for the heat.
Nothing.
We’re from Assam. We grew up eating Bhut Jolokia, the world’s hottest chilli, like it was a condiment. That red chutney tasted like ketchup to us.
That was the moment. India doesn’t know real heat. And we were sitting on the world’s extraordinary produce back home literally doing nothing about it.
Nobody was telling that story. So we decided to.
